WE ARE
Located in Miami, FL, DAW is a Design + Build Studio, created in June 2002 by José Leonardo Parra and Blanca Daw with more than 30 years of professional activities in the design + build industry after earning their bachelor’s degree in architecture at Universidad del Zulia in their hometown Maracaibo, Venezuela. After graduate in 1990, they opened their own Design + Build Studio, Arquimarmol, where they gained knowledge and experience designing and building luxury custom homes, malls, restaurants and corporate offices
In 2001, Jose & Blanca decided to move to the South Florida area and open their own Design + Build Studio Daw Builders, where he obtained a General Contractor License from the Florida Department of Business Regulation. Since then, DAW has created exceptional modern design and construction for high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Southeast Florida, with a variety of projects ranging from luxury custom homes, corporate offices, malls and sports facilities
WE OFFER
At DAW we offer design-build projects, through a model where one entity (the design-build team) works under a single contract with the project owner to provide design-build services. One entity, one contract, and one unified workflow from initial concept to completion.
In simpler terms, the design + build construction delivery method replaces the traditional method of awarding separate contracts for design and construction. The contractor, designers, subcontractors, and owner work as one team to build a project that meets or exceeds the owner’s expectations. Team members focus together on communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
